New licence for the
company Polskie Fale Średnie (Polish Medium Wave)
Krajowa Rada Radiofonii i Telewizji
(The National Broadcasting Council) has published on its website a
announcement about a new licence for the company Polskie Fale Średnie
(Polish Medium Wave).
Licence number 439/2010-R of
29-06-2010 was granted for the program Twoje Radio Giżycko (Your Radio
Giżycko).
Radio station will broadcast from
Giżycko (warmińsko-mazurskie province) on the frequency 1485 kHz with power
800W.
This will be the first radio station
of the project "Twoje Radio" ("Your Radio") in this province.

Chełm: Twoje Radio already has a network
programme
From 11 August this year. Twoje
Radio Chełm started broadcast network program from the studio in Krakow.
So far, on the air broadcast a program testing -

Shortwave pirate radio station Laser
Hot Hits moved frequency to 3940 kHz.
In early May 2010 due to
interference on 4025 kHz Laser Hot Hits has moved frequency to 4015kHz.
23 May 2010 - Frequency 4015kHz wasn't
much better so Laser Hot Hits have moved frequency again to 3940kHz
Frequency 3940 kHz will probably be
the final frequency of this station.

Twoje Radio Wałcz is another running
station of Cracow company Polskie Fale Średnie (Polish Medium Wave). How
our Readers inform, programme contains only musics and jingles and can
listen to in the city and neighbourhood since the end of May.
Station broadcast on 1485 kHz from
the former district hospital on the street on 12 February.
This is another radio station of
Network Twoje Radio launched this year.
Previously, stations began
broadcasting in Słupsk, Chełm and Skarżysko-Kamienna.

Słupsk:
Another station of Twoje Radio on the air
For several days inhabitants of
Słupsk can already listen to the new station of Twoje Radio Gminne in their
city.
The program consists only music and
radio jingles - "Your AM Radio, Slupsk, 1584 kHz", which is

Running the station is part of a
project implemented by the Polish company Polskie Fale Średnie SA, which
has its seat in Cracow
and he is an owner of the concession
for radio broadcasting.
Twoje Radio Słupsk broadcasts on
medium wave on frequency 1584 kHz with the power 800 W from the transmitter
by the Poniatowski Street, at number 27. It is not known whether the radio
station will produce their own local programs.

Since third May Polish Radio
Magazine will be broadcast from Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 23:00.

RCN in Solec
Kujawski is already broadcasting 10 years
On Friday, 4 September is 10
anniversary of starting of Radio
Broadcasting Center in Solec Kujawski.
Radio Broadcasting Center
of Polish Radio in Solec Kujawski became solemnly started 4 September of
1999 year.
Eminent – guests
participated in it among others the then president Republic
of Poland Aleksander Kwaśniewski
and the primate of Poland
cardinal Józef Glemp.
Transmitter in Solec
Kujawski working on long waves, on the frequency 225 kHz and he enables the receipt of the Polish Radio 1 on the area of
the entire country and outside its borders. The station was being built two
years and came into being on terrain of former military training ground
near Solec Kujawski. It was installed there modern transmitter with power
1000 kW. Complex of aerials include two quater-wave broadcasting poles with
heights 330 and 289 m.
This is one of the most
modern radio centres in Europe. Transmitting
infrastructure is prepared not only to present functions, connected with
emission of the radio program in the traditional analogue technology, but
also for future digital emission in the DRM technique (Digital Radio
Mondiale).
The signal of Polish Radio
1 was transmitted earlier from the transmitter in Konstantynów (highest
construction in histories of world.) which collapsed in 1991.
Reconstruction of transmitter was impossible from reason of protests of
neighbouring inhabitants. It was given up from building of one high pole
and two smaller poles were built. Poles were built in distant location from
centre. Cost of building amounted 49 million zl.

Ozorków: "Twoje
Radio" is broadcasting
Since April this year dwellers
of Ozorków (Łódź Voivodeship) can listen to the "Twoje Radio
Ozorków".
Similarly to the majority
of working broadcasting stations as part of the project the station moved
quietly, without the
promotion.
The program is broadcasting on the frequency 1584 kHz with power 0.1 kW.
As of today on the radio
we can hear the central program of the Radio and local themes. As many as a
few brief test programmes
which
were transmitted without the greater regularity took place. The radio is
planning broadcasting programmes, connected
with
the local news and leads.
The network "Twoje
Radio AM" is going to start in such cities as Gdynia,
Słupsk or Katowice.
Of ether however
broadcasting stations already disappeared from Radzyń Of the Radzyń
Podlaski, Kraśnik and Kłodzko.

decision was connected with financial difficulties of Polish Radio.
Transmitter has worked
everyday from 8:00 to 18:00 broadcast programmes: Radio Parlament and Polish
Radio External Service.
This transmitter also
acted as the reserve for broadcasting Polish Radio 1 in emergency or
conservation situations.
Polish Radio is planning
continuing activity of the Radio Parlament.
After 30 of July debates
of Seym, Senate and Investigator Committes it is possible to listen only
via the Internet.

"Twoje Radio
Krosno" for a few weeks is accessible in ether already. Station is
broadcasting on 1584 kHz with power 800 W.
At the moment program
contains music and local themes of the broadcasting station.
Ultimately
"Twoje Radio Krosno", will be sending a local channel from 2 till
4 hours per day.
At
that time an information prepared through the
city, e.g., announcements, reports, interviews will be transmitted by
programmes.
The
remaining prime time will be filling the program of the Polish Radio
Rzeszów or Radio VOX - Zygmunt Rysz, the head of the Department are
explaining to the Promotion of the Office of the City of Krosno. Preparing programme and emission

station - "Twoje Radio Przemyśl" on frequency 1485 kHz. At
present on the air is broadcasting music and jingles only.
Meanwhile from
23 of January this year don't broadcast
"Twoje Radio Kraśnik". This is already another break of
broadcasting of this programme.

3 of March 2009 year was sign agreement about
co-operation between Polish Radio and Romanian Radio Corporation represents
by Radio România International.
Co-operation obligate
both sides to featuring up-to-date information about countries, their
culture, current social and political events and tourist vitures of country.
Both radio broadcasts will together to produce
programme concerning politics and economy, social and cultural life one's
countries in three launguages: English, Ukrainian and Russian, and
broadcasting them on one's on the air. Partners obligate also to exchange
one's radio programmes, and in frameworks intensification direct
co-operation will realise exchange journalists and other workers.

Direction of RBB (Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg)
maked decision, that Radio MultiKulti will to broadcast only to the end of
this year.
Although countless protests of listeners direction
don't plan to assign of one's decision. Reason are
savings. Radio MultiKulti broadcast 20 minutes Polish programmes from Monday
to Friday at 21:40.

70 years of Polish Section of Radio Vatican
Already from 70 years Radio Vatican broadcasts information
about apostolic capital for Poles on whole world. First announcement on the
air of Radio Vatican
became broadcasted 12 February of 1931 year. This was address of Pius XI
from opportunity 40 years of encyclical "Rerum novarum”. Onto regular
Polish programmes should was yet to wait some years. Officially Section Poland
of Vatican Radio started to exist 24 November 1938 became.First manager of
section was Feliks Lasoń. Broadcasts in Polish language were broadcasted
initially 1-2 times in week. Subject matter concerned papal activities
mainly. Often on the air entertained hagiographic subject matter. During
war RV broadcasted regularly every 5 weeks sermons in Polish language
within the confines of Sundays' transmission Holy Masses. Introduced also
Polish language during reading Gospel. In 1947 year Polish Section converts
into everyday thematic broadcasts at 20:15. Simultaneously in RV was
created independent the news section broadcasting uniform afternoon service
"Informations of Radio VaticanWatykańskiego” (IRVAT) in some European
languages, in this in Polish at 16:15. In 1957 year open of new
transmission centre RV in Santa Maria di Galeria near Rome. Thus improve conditions of
broadcast programmes in Polish language. After 1983 year broadcasting
programmes in Polish language was establish according to following
schedule:
- news (14 min.) - at 16:15
- evening broadcast (20 min.) - at 20:00
- repetition of evening broadcast from previous
day in the morning - at 6:00
According to this schedule Polish Section
broadcasts to today.

24 October again turn on transmitters UR 2: in Browarach
(Kiev District), Lucz (Mykołajiw District) and Krasny (Lviv District). This
transmitters work on frequency 549 kHz.
From 1 November, UR
1 can also listen to from transmitter in Krasny on frequency 936 kHz, but UR 3 from transmitter in Lucz on
frequency 1431 kHz.

Advertising campaign of Polish Radio External
Service
In this week is starting adwertising campaign of
Polish Radio External Service stress great importance this broadcasting
station.
Campaign has to reach to foreigners living in our
country and to Poles living in foreign countries. Advertising will run in Internets' portals,
daily newspapers: Gazeta Wyborcza, Rzeczpospolita, weeklies: Wprost,
Polityka. Additional support campaign will be noticeboard in Warsaw underground,
because this is popular means of transport, from which use both Varsovians,
as foreigners.

Polish Section RFI has to become liquidation?
AFP announce, on session
of Factory Council, on Friday 24 October, management RFI announced, that it
foresees liquidation of six linguistic sections, in this Polish Section,
from reason "insufficient number listeners". From this same
reasons to disappear broadcasts in Albanian
language, Laotian, German, Serbo-Croatian and Turkish.
AFP cite on "trade union source" in RFI.
Project presented chairman of holding company included in from recent RFI,
Alain de Pouzilhac, as well as General Radio Manager, Christine Ockrent.
Management RFI refused agency of comment onto this

Radio New Zealand Int.: sixty years
of international programmes
On 27 September, in 1948, New Zealand’s first
international shortwave service was launched
by Prime Minister Peter Fraser. It took the name
‘Radio New Zealand’ and was part of the
New
Zealand Broadcasting Service (NZBS). In the beginning RNZ Int. using two US
transmitters left behind after the Second World War.
Today station is broadcasting under the name „Radio
New Zealand International”. Programmes of RNZ Int. is available on
shortwave in analogue (AM), on shortwave in digital (DRM), via the Internet
and satellite. Broadcast providing an essential link between New Zealand
and its Pacific neighbours. Programmes are very popular also in South-East Asia.
All week long Radio New Zealand International will

40 years of Polish Section CRI
First programme China Radio International in
Polish was broadcasted 28 August 1968 year. At the beginning programme was
broadcasted on shortwave only. At the turn of the years 2003 and 2004
Polish Section of CRI started to broadcast one's programmes on the medium
wave too on frequency: 1557 and 1458 kHz. For long years programmes develop,
and to Polish Section join next persons. For some time programmes for Poland
were broadcasted even twice a day. At present programmes in
Polish are broadcasting everyday for one hour, and editorial numbers 15
Chineses and two experts from Poland. Polish programme
contain three parts: current news from China and from foreign
countries, comment of the day and everyweek's cyclic programme. Everyday's
programmes divide on few parts, such as: "Economic review",
"Let learn Chinese language", "Song of the week",
"Culture of China", "Science, education and protection of
health", "Chinese cuisine", "Box of letters",
"For friendship and understanding", "Studio sport",
"Chinese express of development", "Trips on China",
"Popular music compositions from China", "Radio Magazine of
Various", "Music Weekend". Thank programmes China Radio
International we can to get to know Chinese policy, history and to acquire
information in field economic-trade, cultural, educational, technical,
tourist and sports. Polish Section have also one's
Internet's portal, that include many valuable information and interesting
competitions for example "Quizes with prizes". On the site can to

Listeners of Ukrainian Radio who lives on

Ukrainian Radio 1. Station will be to
broadcast from transmitter in Browary near Kiev on 5970 kHz with

More programmes for Georgia
In result fights between Georgia and Russia,
Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty (RFE / RL) began transmission of
additional programmes for Georgia.
In all RWE
(RFE) in Georgian language broadcasts four hours now daily. Broadcasted
programmes are on shortwave as well as on FM on the local transmitters.
Also Voice of America (VOA) enlarged quantity of
programmes. Now programme for Georgia lasts one hour daily.
Programmes, in this reports from interior of
country are broadcasted locally on FM and on shortwave.
Both stations it's been to finish transmission of
broadcast in Georgian language on the 30 September this year. But war in Georgia
probably will reschedule these plans onto later deadline.

From 21 of July this year to all sections of Radio
Voice of Russia it is possible send
letters free of charge. Suffice only to print out on
envelope „special postal text”, put
letter and to throw envelope to any letter box. It's not
done to stamp.

BIG L switched off mediumwave transmitter
From 1 August 2008 was switched off Dutch
mediumwave transmitter broadcasting English
music station "Big L Radio London".
Transmitter was broadcasting on frequency 1395 kHz
and was lacation in Trintelhaven in Netherlands
what allow better reception on the
Continent than as if was broadcasting from the
British Isles.
The transmitter was powered by a diesel generator,
and operating costs was increased
enormously due to the high price of oil. As a result decide
switched off transmitter.

The end of programmes of BBC and RFE in Romanian
For few days ago BBC published that finishing
broadcasting for Romania.
After this
information also Radio Free Europe (RFE) decide on such
measure. Both stations finished
broadcasting Romanian programmes in this same day - 1 of
August. However Radio Free Europe will be still broadcasting programmes in
Romanian language for Moldavia.
Therefore
Romanians will be still to listen to programmes
RFE in one's own language.

Dutch broadcasting radio station "GrootNieuws",
broadcasting on frequency 1008 kHz, maybe already in August disappear from
ether. Cause are financial problems. Station need
to the end of this month 500 thousand €. Board of christian station
appealing to listeners about
filing offerings.
We reminding, that previously frequency 1008 kHz
used Radio 10 Gold, which also in this
reason stopped broadcasting on medium wave.

Polish Radio - External Service on long wave.
From present
day, 1 of July, programmes Polish Radio - External
Service will be additionally broadcast on long wave, on frequency 198 kHz. Polish Radio in this way effectuate
needs Poles living territory neighbouring countries. Transmitter in Raszyn
is covering among other things Lwow, Grodno,
Pinsk, Brzesc, Kaliningrad,
some part of Wilno, and North part Czech and Slovakia. Programmes
broadcasting on 198 kHz are also directing to Polish citizens nationality
of Belorussian, German and Ukrainian, which as well as national minorities
have right to programme in own languages. Moreover additional access to
news obtaining foreign tourist visitors Poland, which don't know Polish
language.
Project also will be living up to expectations
citizens from Ukraine, Belarus and Kaliningrad district, wishing to get
daily's amount informations about our country in one's mother tongue.
